Addhuri

Addhuri (Kannada: ಅದ್ಧೂರಿ) is a 2012 Kannada romantic film starring Dhruv Sarja, who is making his film debut and Radhika Pandit in the lead roles. The story, screenplay, dialogues and direction are by A. P. Arjun of the Kannada movie Ambaari fame. V. Harikrishna is the music director of the film. Keerthi Swamy of Maryland, U S A and Shankar Reddy of Bengaluru have produced the venture. Soorya S Kiran of "Dildaara" fame is the Cinematographer. The film made its theatrical release across Karnataka screens on 15th June 2012.The stunts are handled by Ravi Verma. In one of the scenes Dhruv Sarja jumped from 65 feet height and done all stunts without dupes.

Plot

It is a love story of Poorna and Arjun. They are affectionately known as ‘Achhu and Rachchu’. Poorna and Arjun (Radhika Pandit and Dhruva Sarja) are in love for one year. Before Poorna father takes a decision she decide to marry Arjun at the registrar office. Arjun agrees but he does not turn up for the prescribed time. The whole day Poorna waits for him on the steps of registrar office. Arjun turns up at the hostel of Poorna in the midnight. Poorna decide to go back to her house in New Delhi.
The next day morning Poorna is at the railway station for ticket and the ticket is only for the next week. That is what Arjun cooks up at the railway ticket counter. She is supposed to stay for one week. For this one week Arjun throws a challenge for Poorna to stay with him. Arjun wish to go to the places where they have gone in the last one year for that Poorna hesitantly agree. On the fourth day Poorna gives a shock that she is getting married to Tarun a software engineer.
On the fifth and sixth day Arjun and Poorna maintains the go happy friendship. Lovers later become friends in life is for the first time says Arjun in one of the scenes. On the 7th day Poorna comes to know why Arjun did not turn up for the marriage registration. She is shocked and feels she has injured Arjun so much in words. Whether Arjun would accept me once again is the question that arises in her mind..

Box office:We recorded 1.20 lacs collections on day one which is a much better revenue accrual than films of some well known heroes in the industry’ says Mohan. Trade Analysts also feel that the film’s good opening clearly proves that Kannada film audience will always receive honest projects which are well presented even if it has a new hero. Some analysts say that director Arjun and the film’s heroine Radhika Pandit have good following among the younger audience. “The film can move towards block buster category in the coming days, if the family audience who have a special liking for Radhika Pandit visit the theatres in large numbers’ says another analyst. 

Ibn Critics gave the movie positive remarks, Speaking about the Director A.P. Arjun's "Addhuri" comes as a breath of fresh air in the stagnant Kannada film industry. It has all the elements that can make it a big hit. Though launching fresh faces with Dhruv and Radhika Pandit was a challenge, Arjun has emerged with flying colors.even Dhruv's Acting Skills were praised saying he has lots of energy and has shown his prowess in dance and fights. He is also good in comedy and emotional sequences.  India Today gave the movie 3 1/2 stars saying "Addhuri is a film thats good looking, fun topped with emotions. Critics from Supergoodmovies gave 3.5 rating

Nokia India has announced the launch of Lumia 610 in the country. It has been priced at Rs. 12,999 and will go on sale starting Saturday in the country. Company also revealed that it has partnered with Warner Bros and The Dark Knight Rises to provide exclusive content for its Lumia series of smartphones including exclusive trailers, movie information, ringtones and wallpapers.

Lumia 610, it features 3.7-inch display, 5MP camera, 800MHz processor and 8GB of internal storage. The smartphone currently runs on Windows Phone 7.5, but company has promised an update to Windows Phone 7.8 sometime later this year.

The current PlayStation 3 in the market has a model filing number of CECH-3000. The numerical change in the first number indicates a higher series of 4000 being manufactured. Since this time the dimensions of the product being filed have not been revealed, the gaming world is abuzz with speculations of a thinner PS3 in the works.
The smaller and more energy efficient PS3 Slim was announced at Gamescom way back in August 2009. Recently however, rumours have been circulating that Sony intends to release a newer model of the PS3 designed to take advantage that have transitioned late.
Sony has already released a thinner PS3, but Eurogamer believes that an even slimmer PS3 is on the cards, with an announcement planned for Gamescom next month. The PS2 also received a similar update of a thinner edition near the end of its lifespan, so perhaps Sony wants to squeeze out the last few remaining dollar before its next-generation console launch.
The buzz on the street nowadays is the new PS4, which is rumoured to be known as the "Orbis", said to will feature one of AMD's x64 processors plus discrete Radeon graphics. The Orbis is said to be able to display a resolution of 4096X2160, and can play 3D games at 1080p. But with the PS3 in its sixth year of manufacture, Sony may refine its current model before paving the way for the new PS4.
Regardless, while attempting to sift through various pieces of gossip to separate fact from fiction, the conclusion is that any numbers of speculations may turn out to be true. But one thing is for certain, a newer version of the PS3 is definitely in the makes. What it is and what features it will entail will hopefully be revealed during Gamescom which is happening the following month

Facebook is planning to launch its own job board after teaming with existing job-posting companies. Citing anonymous sources, media reports said that BranchOut, Jobvite and Work4Labs will be at least three of the companies that will pair with the platform.

With the rise of LinkedIn - and its aggressive moves into social-networking functionality - having Facebook enter the fray is an obvious play for them.

Whether or not the job posts will display in the news feed is unclear.

Many bigger companies have career recruitment presences on Facebook already, but a centralised engine behind job postings and searches would feed the engagement metrics.

According to recent estimates, the job-posting market is worth about USD 4.3 billion and everyone would like to have a piece of it.

Last October, the social networking site initiated its move towards becoming a source for job hunters by teaming up with the US Department of Labor and three employment-related agencies in an attempt to decrease the country's 9.1 per cent unemployment rate using social media -- a project that may eventually include a Facebook job posting system.

This partnership started a new era of formal job hunting content on Facebook -- which some recruiters already prefer over LinkedIn -- for the first time.

As part of the initiative, Facebook launched a "Social Jobs" portal that makes easily accessible educational content and tools from its partners at the Department of Labor, National Association of Colleges and Employers, Direct Employers Association, and the National Association of State Workforce Agencies.

It plans to promote this page in the 10 states with the highest unemployment rates and Puerto Rico. The most interesting aspect of the new partnership, however, is a plan to inch Facebook into job listings territory.

Facebook's statement announcing the partnership mentioned "systems where new job postings can be delivered virally through the Facebook site at no charge." What shape such a job posting system would take, and whether Facebook has any solid plans beyond research to pursue one, are still not clear.

A job board that lives on Facebook could put the social network in direct competition with sites like LinkedIn and Monster.com

Internet users across the world have been warned that if they have the "Alureon/ DNS Changer bot" virus on their computers, they will lose their Internet connections July 9.

The virus "spoofs" popular websites in an attempt to steal personal information.

The software found its way into thousands of computers worldwide last year. It redirect users away from trusted websites, towards spoof websites in a bid to steal financial and personal information.

When the attack was noticed, the FBI routed infected machines through its server to stop the attacks. But the servers will be taken down July 9. When this happens, computers still infected are likely to lose their internet connection without warning.

Multiple websites have been setup to check if your computer is infected. One of them is DNS Changer Check-Up (for list of other websites click here). Simply visit the website and if you see green colour, your computer is clean.
